This coat was inspired by and infused with aspects of the feminine, intuitive, watery energies of the West direction of the Andean medicine wheel. This ancient, shamanic tradition names the jaguar (otorongo) as the animal ally of the west. She is a luminous, warrior-like creature with the ability to see in the dark and is said to act as a powerful guide for our emotional healing and transformation. Call on jaguar energy during times of doubt and fear.

Supple, black leather, calf-length coat with iridescent “Full Moon” buttons and aquamarine gemstone amulet at collar. Hand painted shades of royal blue, lapis and aqua jaguar markings with collaged fabric images.
