This coat was inspired by and infused with aspects of the airy, limitless, other-worldly energies of the North direction of the Andean medicine wheel. This ancient, shamanic tradition names the hummingbird (siwarkenti) as the animal ally of the North. She is a joyful creature of stamina with the ability to move between worlds and act as a powerful guide when we are looking for support. Call on hummingbird energy during times of hopelessness and deep fatigue.

Supple, black leather, mid-thigh length coat with luminescent “ancestor” buttons and amethyst amulet dangling from back collar. Hand painted shades of purple, amethyst, iris and violet images.
