Sunflowers are late bloomers, not coming into their full glory until late summer.  They remind us that our ultimate blooming takes time and often happens over the course of a lifetime.  This coat was created in celebration and acknowledgement of the untapped potential that, perhaps, only need turn toward the sun to be energized and ignited into bloom. Connect with sunflower energy to intentionally call forth creative powers yet to be seen.

Supple, black leather, mid-thigh length coat with sunflower mandala buttons and citrine amulet dangling from back collar. Hand painted shades of yellow, gold and green with collaged fabric and fiber images.
